DTF File Upload Artwork Requirements

To ensure your transfers come out sharp, vibrant, and professional, please review the following artwork requirements before uploading your files to DTF Prints Florida. Providing the correct file type and resolution helps us deliver the best results and avoid delays.

1. File Types Accepted

We accept the following file formats:

  • PNG (with transparent background preferred)

  • PDF (vector or high-resolution)

  • AI / EPS (Adobe Illustrator files, fonts outlined)

  • PSD (Adobe Photoshop files, flattened preferred)

  • SVG (vector format)

❌ We do not recommend JPEG or low-resolution images, as they can result in blurry or pixelated prints.

2. Resolution & Quality

  • All files must be at 300 DPI (dots per inch) or higher.

  • Low-resolution images (72 DPI) may look clear on screen but will print blurry.

  • Artwork should be created at the actual size you want it printed.

3. Backgrounds

  • For best results, submit artwork with a transparent background.

  • Remove any unwanted white or colored backgrounds.

  • If your design has a background color, please specify whether you want it printed or removed.

4. Color Settings

  • Files should be created in RGB color mode.

  • Colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings, but we print using high-quality inks for vibrant results.

5. Text & Fonts

  • Convert all text to outlines/curves (for AI, EPS, PDF, SVG files).

  • This ensures your fonts will not change if we don’t have the same font installed.

6. Sizing & Layout

  • Size your artwork to the exact dimensions you want it printed.

  • For gang sheets, arrange your designs in the layout you prefer before uploading.

  • Leave at least 0.25 inches of space between designs on a gang sheet.

7. Transparent Areas

  • Anything transparent in your file will not print.

  • Make sure to check your file edges and design details before uploading.

8. Special Effects & Gradients

  • We can print gradients, shadows, and fine details.

  • Avoid overly complex transparency effects that may not transfer well.

9. File Size Limit

  • Maximum upload size: 100MB per file.

  • If your file is too large, compress it without reducing quality or split it into smaller files.
